The Federico Malaman Signature electric bass is born from the twenty-year collaboration between the Italian virtuoso bassist and master luthier Pierluigi Cazzola. This neck-through instrument combines an Okoume body with extremely precise Delano electronics, offering lightning-fast dynamics, rock-solid bass, and extraordinarily responsive playability. Perfect for slap and fast phrasing, it represents the state of the art of the modern electric bass.

The Federico Malaman Signature is the result of years of testing on stage and in the studio, optimized to offer a perfect balance and ergonomic comfort that prevents postural fatigue.
Architecture and Woods:
- Body: Selected Okoume for a crisp attack, lightness, and exceptional responsiveness.
- Neck: 5-section neck-through construction in maple and purpleheart with patented Laurus truss-rod.
- Soundboard (Top): 2 mm top in Santos rosewood, poplar burl, or full-sap flamed maple.
- Fretboard: Phenolic resin for absolute signal homogeneity and complete absence of dead notes.
Electronics and Hardware:
- Pickups: Custom Delano pickups with high dynamics to capture every playing nuance.
- Electronics: Active 3-band equalizer (±15dB) with switch for active/passive selection.
- Hardware: Special Laurus bridge with spoilered saddles designed to emphasize natural sustain.
- Tonal Chambers: Upper tonal chamber communicating with the central one, equipped with three acoustic tuning tubes.
Dimensions and Options:
- Scale Length: 34-inch scale.
- Configuration: Available in 4 or 5-string versions.
- Finish: Satin natural varnish to preserve the organic look of the wood.
