The Effects of Dophix®
Dophix® is an artisanal reality born in Florence from the meeting of musical passion, engineering expertise, and aesthetic sensitivity. For over a decade, it has been crafting hand-designed and handmade effects for guitar and bass, with a unique sonic and visual identity. Each pedal is a narrative object: a sound machine that tells a story, awakens emotions, and brings an inner world to the stage to explore.

The Dophix® team consists of Stefano, Andrea, Federica, and a close-knit group combining skills in electronics, music, design, and communication. From the first artisanal experience at the workbench at age 15 to conquering the international scene, Dophix®’s path is marked by relentless pursuit of quality and the urgency to give a soul to every effect.

The Collection
Dophix produces analog pedals and effects for guitar and bass, crafted in artisanal series using point-to-point wiring. Annual production ranges from 500 to 2000 pieces, each inspired by a character, myth, or evocative idea: the trilogy of David, Neptune, Michelangelo is just one example of how each effect is designed to tell a sonic and visual world.

Construction Philosophy, Techniques, and Materials
The Dophix® philosophy is based on meticulous sonic research: warmth, dynamics, depth, and vibration are the goals. Pedals are made with high-quality metal materials and hand-assembled using traditional techniques, favoring point-to-point circuitry for greater purity and sound reliability.

Aesthetics are not secondary: each pedal is also a visual object, designed to communicate its identity at first glance. The design, curated by Federica, strengthens the narrative of each effect, turning it into a small work of art imbued with imagery, character, and musical intention.

Collaborations and Recognitions
Dophix® has gained international attention with the Michelangelo Overdrive Plus, selected among the “Six Best Pedals” at Summer NAMM 2019 in Nashville. Artists such as Giuseppe Scarpato, Artur Menezes, Ron Artis II, and Saturnino have chosen Dophix® pedals for their performances. The brand is present at major international fairs and continues to grow thanks to word of mouth among discerning and attentive musicians.

Direct Experience
The Dophix® workshop in Capraia e Limite (FI) is open for guided tours, meetings, and direct testing of the effects. An opportunity to experience the construction quality, listen to the pedals’ sonic depth, and meet the team behind the project. Visiting Dophix® means immersing yourself in a creative universe where technique and art coexist.
