The story of 4Ears began in 1993 within Munarato Srl, a workshop specialized in custom earphone manufacturing. Based in Arre (PD), 4ears is today one of the Italian references for the production of custom multi-driver in-ear monitors for musicians and sound professionals.

With over thirty years of experience, the company combines artisanal craftsmanship with technological research, developing custom earphones with optimal acoustic isolation, premium components, and high-fidelity sound. Each piece is unique, built from the customer’s ear molds to ensure absolute comfort and professional performance.

The 4Ears collection includes various models of custom in-ear monitors and personalized headphones. Each line differs by the number of drivers and multi-way configuration, offering solutions for musicians, sound engineers, and audio enthusiasts.

  • SM851: 8 drivers per side, 5-way, with extreme sound transparency.
  • SM631/SM631B: 6 drivers per side, balanced across the spectrum, with the “B” version emphasizing bass for bassists and drummers.

4ears construction techniques

The philosophy of 4Ears is summed up in three words: anatomical adaptation, premium sound, and safety. Each earphone is created from the impression of the ear canal for a perfect fit and about 26 dB of noise isolation.

The 4Ears process includes a personalized consultation and custom manufacturing based on ear impressions.

Thanks to a network of over 200 distributors, musicians can easily take ear molds and send them to the workshop in Arre (PD). Every product is followed step-by-step until delivery, with dedicated assistance and maintenance options.
