It is an ancient voice, bold and deeply rooted in the folk tradition of Southern Italy.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> For centuries it has supported dances, songs, and rituals \u2014 including that <em>Antidotum Tarantulae<\/em> which already in its name promises fiery tales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With its endless neck and its body that <strong>recalls the mandolin, the colascione is a basso<\/strong> continuo with a marked, essential, and primordial personality.
