The Ornati Cello signed by Liuteria Giacomo Margiacchi is a meticulous interpretation of the legendary Ornati Cello 1912, a monumental platform for the low range. Following the classical Cremonese method, Margiacchi treats the instrument as a dynamic and living acoustic machine. Built using highly seasoned Balkan Maple and resonant Spruce from Val di Fiemme, each piece features thickness individually carved and calibrated by hand. The special eighteenth-century oil varnish acts as an acoustic filter, enhancing a rich, warm sound projection of unparalleled personality.
Inspiration and Historical Model: Faithful and rigorous interpretation of the Ornati Cello 1912. A masterpiece born from philological study and respect for the classical Cremonese method, designed to meet the highest concert requirements.

Materials and Resonance Woods:
Workmanship and Acoustic Optimization: The thicknesses of the arches never follow preset standards, but are sculpted individually based on the specific stiffness of each portion of wood. This meticulous work perfectly distributes the vibrational nodes, preventing the onset of wolf tones and ensuring prompt and uniform emission in every register.
Varnishing: Special formulation of oil varnish inspired by eighteenth-century recipes. This finish remains elastic over time, protecting the wood from humidity while favoring the birth of warm, soft, and intense harmonics.
