The “Cremona” violin carries a name that is a statement of intent. It is an homage to the world capital of violin making, reinterpreted through the contemporary vision and steady hand of Luca Zerilli, who now treats Alpine spruce like an old friend: he knows what to ask of it, what it can give, and when to say “no” because it doesn’t vibrate the way it should.
This violin takes the proud character of the Guarneri and gives it a modern polish without touching its soul. The dark varnish lends it a noble, almost mysterious aura, while the flamed Balkan maple shines as if it wanted to reveal every single growth ring.
The result? An instrument that doesn’t shy away: it speaks, it sings, it pushes. And it does so with a rich, full voice capable of moving from the most intimate whisper to concert-hall projection without ever losing its elegance.
