Jimmy Guitar Factory
Jimmy Guitar Factory: From Vintage Luthiery to Serial Production
Jimmy Guitar Factory, founded by Stefano Ballardini (known as Jimmy), represents the evolution of a journey in the world of musical instruments that began in 1994. Initially specialized in “vintage” and classical luthiery, Jimmy transformed his workshop in Cesena, active since 2002, into a true “factory” starting in 2022, now focusing on serial production of instruments.
The “factory” is conceived as a place where technique, engineering, aesthetics, and passion blend. This transition to serial production allows Jimmy Guitar Factory to offer quality instruments while maintaining the know-how and attention to detail typical of artisanal luthiery from which Stefano Ballardini comes.
Product Types and Models
Jimmy Guitar Factory’s current offering focuses on:
C1 PRO Electric Guitars: The flagship model of serial production. These Solid Body guitars feature carefully crafted specs, such as Sapelli Mahogany body with Kaya Mahogany top, Kaya Mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard, compound radius, and Di Marzio Humbucker pickups.
C1 Left-Handed Guitars: A variant for left-handed musicians of the C1 model, introduced as a new addition.
“Mac 2” Microphones: A new line of microphones entirely produced by the Factory, expanding the offer beyond guitars.
Artistic Collaborations
The connection with musicians is fundamental for Jimmy Guitar Factory. Among the artists who have chosen their instruments stands out:
Filippo Bianchi: User of a C1 PRO “Filobianchi Signature”, specially made for him, demonstrating the possibility of personalized collaborations.
